Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Short version: the documents you edit are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to us. We do not sell data and we do not run advertising profiles.

1. Your documents

Everything you paste, open or type into the editor is processed locally by code running in your browser. Text, HTML, imported .docx files and generated exports are not transmitted to our servers, are not logged and are not stored by us. When you close the tab, that working copy is gone.

2. What is stored on your device

Clearing your browser storage removes all of it. Nothing in local storage is readable by us.

3. Cookies and analytics

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. We collect aggregate usage statistics — page views, browser family, approximate region — to understand which features are used and where errors happen. These statistics contain no document content and cannot identify you personally.

4. When you contact us

If you email us or submit the contact form, we receive your address, your message and anything you attach. We use it to answer, and keep the correspondence only as long as needed for support history. If you attach a markup sample, treat it as you would any email — send a reduced example rather than a confidential document.

5. Third-party services

The site loads web fonts and is served through a hosting and content-delivery provider. Those providers process technical request data such as your IP address and user agent in order to deliver the page. They receive no document content.

6. Your rights

You can ask what correspondence we hold about you, request its correction or deletion, and withdraw consent for future emails at any time. Write to hello@phphtmledit.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

The editor is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If the way we handle data changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted on the home page.
